The Problem

Bring the specialist to the community — virtually — instead of asking the community to reach the specialist. A local paramedic or community health worker, already present at a nearby facility, captures basic health data from the mother: blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, and other routine indicators. That data is shared in real time with a remote specialist through a simple communication tool. The specialist reviews the data and advises the paramedic on the spot — whether there's a concern to manage, a deficiency to treat, or nothing to worry about. No travel.
